21-year-old man undergoing treatment for osteochondrosis dissecans ossis talii (necrosis separating the trochlea talii). The patient had received conservative treatment in another clinic for 5 years. Arthroscopy was performed; 4 loose articular cartilaginous and 2 osteocartilaginous bodies were found.
All the pieces were removed from the joint; and extostoses which constrained articular mobility were hewn off. The patient’s articular mobility improved significantly; the patient resumed sports activity with no associated pain.
